Brass Kalash

Kalasha is referred to as an "overflowing full vase" (purno-asya Kalasha) in the Vedas. It is an auspicious symbol in Hinduism, believed to contain amrita, the elixir of life, and is viewed as a symbol of abundance, wisdom, and immortality. The Kalasha is often filled with water, grains, or other auspicious items and topped with a coconut and mango leaves during rituals. It represents the source of life and creation, with the water inside symbolizing the primordial waters from which the universe emerged.
